SMAK has been producing comedy for 25 years. Our audiences have grown steadily during that time, which is great, because it means that we can keep doing what we love to do! For those of you who have never attended our Dinner Theatre, this is what you can expect. To begin, a delicious roast beef dinner with a selection of homemade pies for dessert starts the evening (or afternoon) off on the right foot.
Let's hope you don't mind laughing on a full stomach because the play begins very soon after the meal is finished.The play typically runs for 2 - 2.5 hours with a 15 minute intermission.
SMAK performs at the Ekfrid Community Centre which has been renovated and is now wheelchair accessible. We are located on 48 Wellington Ave. in Appin, Ont. between Mount Brydges and Glencoe.
We have a loyal following and love to see the many familiar faces of our patrons that come to every play. It is also gratifying to hear new patrons comment that they will be back because they'd had such a good time. If you've come out to our plays in the past, we graciously thank you for your support! If you're a first timer, welcome to the SMAK family! We know you'll have a great time and we look forward to getting to know you better and seeing you laugh yet again at our next play!
